Notes Server

The Notes Server provides a local web page where crew can submit notes from phones or laptops during rehearsal.

Requires the Production licence tier or above.

Setup​

  1. Open Preferences → Notes Server.
  2. Enable Notes Server.
  3. Use the Copy URL icon to copy the server address, for example http://192.168.1.10:8888.
  4. Use the QR code icon to let crew open it quickly on phones.
  5. Crew submissions appear in the Notes panel in real time and are saved with the session.

PIN protection​

You can enable PIN protection to prevent unauthorised submissions from other devices on the network.

Best use​

The Notes Server is most useful when:

  • stage management needs multiple departments feeding notes into one session,
  • creative teams want live feedback collected without crowding the operator station,
  • the notes need to remain tied to the session record rather than living in a separate document.
